Under water bubbles escape from his shell,
pockets of air, give off a bad smell.
But if you listen with your ear stuck to the rock,
what you will witness will come as quite a shock.
For these bubbles contain poetry, of the lyrical kind,
some of the most beautiful story telling you ever will find.
Poems of love, hope and of wisdom,
not just a sea dwelling shell as you have become accustom.
So next time you’re at the seaside and you spot our poetic friend,
take time to listen as to you a poem he may send.
